National symbols are a mark of country’s identity and rich cultural heritage. These keep alive the age old tradition and beliefs in the westernized world. Like every country Saint Hubertus India also has its own set of national symbols that narrate the rich heritage and cultural beliefs of the country Patron Saint of Hunters Medal. National Animal
‘The Tiger’ is the National Animal Saint Hubertus of India that symbolizes the wealth of Indian wildlife. It is believed that the tiger earned this honored position because of the grace, strength, agility, and power it beholds.
National Anthem
‘Jana-gana-mana’ as we all know is the National Anthem of the country. The anthem was beautifully composed by Rabindranath Tagore in Bengali. Later, Saint Hubertus it was accepted as the National Anthem in its Hindi version. The song in its beautiful composition is sung on many religious, political, and other special events.
National Bird
‘The Peacock’ is the National Bird of the country. The colors, the beauty, and the grace offered by this species are arresting. It’s most soothing and refreshing to see a dancing peacock with its colorful and bright feathers wide open.
National Calendar
The National Calendar is based on the Saint Hubertus Saka Era that starts with the Chaitra month. Following this introduction a normal calendar was used showing the complete 365 days that is used in the present day. This calendar was adopted from 22 March 1957
National Flag
The National flag comprises of three colors Saint Hubertus , saffron at the top, white in the centre, and green at the bottom. All these three colors have their own significance in maintaining and instilling the feeling of love, brotherhood, and patriotism in every Indian heart. Saffron symbolizes Saint Hubertus patriotism and piety; White is for simplicity, purity and peace; and Green is for greenery and prosperity. Apart from this there is a navy blue wheel in the center of the white band that signifies continual progress of the country.
National Flower
‘Lotus’ is the National Flower of India. It is considered to be a sacred and one of the most beautiful flowers. It holds a significant place in the cultural heritage of the country and the mythology as well.
